For the Mothers

A Gentle Companion for the Journey After Birth

How this work may support you

  • integrating a difficult, overwhelming, or confusing birth - it felt too much, too fast, lonely

  • navigating anxiety, hyper-vigilance, shutdown, or emotional numbness

  • feeling disconnected from your body or sense of self

  • carrying exhaustion that rest doesn’t seem to touch

  • adjusting to motherhood after survival, loss, or medical intervention

  • wanting a softer, more compassionate way to live as a mother - still becoming

Support may include:

  • embodied practices
Trauma-sensitive yoga, somatic experiencing. Slow, invitational movement that honours your body

  • nervous system awareness & care
Understanding what your body learned - through life, during birth and in parenting

  • meaning-making
Making space for your reflections and own language; story without pressure to relive or analyse

  • relational support
Healing that recognises we are not meant to do this alone

Everything offered is an invitation. You are always in choice of what you engage with — and what you don’t.

Ways to Work Together

Integrative Counselling for Mothers

A gentle and relational space for mothers navigating the emotional, relational, and embodied layers of motherhood.

These sessions are for the mother who may be holding a lot — the intensity of birth, identity shifts, nervous system overwhelm, grief, anxiety, relationship changes, questions around selfhood, or simply the quiet longing to feel more connected to herself again.

Together, we may weave:

  • birth integration and processing

  • trauma-sensitive somatic experiencing and nervous system support

  • integrative counselling and psychotherapy

  • reflective and relational conversations

  • gentle yoga, breath, grounding, and embodied practices

  • support for the emotional landscape of motherhood and matrescence

Sessions are offered online or face-to-face in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney.

You are welcome exactly as you are.
There is no pressure to have the “right” words or to be in a particular place before reaching out.

You can choose the number of sessions that feels supportive for your needs and capacity.

The Sky Between Us — An Introduction

You may wish to begin gently — with an on-demand grounding practice and a few reflective readings to accompany you where you are.

The Sky Between Us — An Introduction is a soft entry point into some of the emotional, relational, and embodied layers of motherhood.

Inside, you’ll find reflections on birth, identity, nervous systems, relationships, and the stories we carry — alongside a gentle grounding practice to support moments that may feel tender, overwhelming, or difficult to name.

This is not a guide to “getting motherhood right.”
It is an invitation into a quieter conversation with yourself.

A space to pause.
To listen inward.
To feel what is here — within capacity, with gentleness, and without urgency.

The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door. If you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door.
